Ratiborus KMS Tools
The long running all in one collection of activation utilities for Windows and Office, bundled in a single portable launcher with every tool in the set.
The archiver that reads everything and writes RAR and ZIP properly, with recovery records, solid archives and multi volume splitting.
WinRAR is the archiver that has outlived every attempt to replace it, and the reason is that it does the boring things correctly. It reads every archive format anyone still uses, it writes RAR and ZIP, and it does not fall over on a damaged file when a recovery record is present. For anything large or split across volumes, it is still the default.
The RAR format itself carries features that ZIP does not. Solid archiving compresses a set of similar files as one continuous stream, which produces dramatically smaller output on collections of related documents or source code. Recovery records let a damaged archive repair itself, which is the single most useful thing an archiver can do when a transfer went bad. Multi volume archives split cleanly at any size and reassemble automatically as long as every part is present.
On the extraction side it handles ZIP, 7Z, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, ZST, ISO, CAB, ARJ, LZH, ACE, UUE, JAR and a long tail of formats that only appear when someone sends you something from a decade ago. Shell integration puts extract and compress on the right click menu with sensible defaults, and the built in viewer lets you look inside an archive before committing to unpacking it.
Everything else is quality of life: AES 256 encryption with optional filename encryption, self extracting archives with custom scripts, benchmark and repair tools, command line versions for scripting, and a settings panel with real control over compression profiles.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.
