Requests
Request Software
Tell the desk what is missing. The list is read every week and the most asked for titles get sourced first.
How the queue works
Requests are counted. The same title asked for by several people moves up, which is the whole reason to send one in even if you can see someone else has already asked.
Once a request reaches the top it gets sourced, tested on a clean machine and written up. That takes as long as it takes.
What gets turned down
Anything that is already free from the developer, because there is no point indexing it.
Anything the desk cannot get a clean copy of. A bad copy is worse than no entry.
Anything that only exists on hardware nobody here has, since it cannot be tested.
Already on the shelf?
Search first. Thirty titles is small enough that it is worth checking. Browse everything.
