Terms Of Use
What this index is, what you may do with it, and what it does not promise you.
What this site is
1007MACFM is an index. It publishes descriptions of software and links pointing at storage operated by other parties. It stores no files of its own and it operates no storage. Using this site means reading an index and following links off it. Everything that happens after you leave is between you and whoever operates the destination.
Use of the index
You may read, search and link to anything on this index. You may quote from the write ups with attribution. You may not scrape the index wholesale, republish it as your own, or use automated tooling against it at a rate that affects other people's ability to use it.
You may not use this site to distribute anything of your own. There is no upload path, no submission route for files, and no mechanism by which a reader can add anything to the index other than a request that a person then acts on.
No warranty
Everything on this index is provided as it is. The desk tests what it publishes and writes the pages carefully, but nothing here comes with a warranty of any kind. Entries may be inaccurate, builds may behave differently on your hardware, and links may fail between one check and the next.
You are responsible for what you run on your own machine. Back up anything you care about before installing software of any kind, from anywhere. That advice is not specific to this site and it is not a formality.
Third party links
The links on this index point at destinations this site does not control. Their content, their availability and their conduct are their own. A link on this index is not an endorsement of the party operating the destination and the desk cannot answer for what happens there.
Your responsibility
Software licensing law differs by country and it is your responsibility to know where you stand. The desk does not offer legal advice, does not assess your situation and does not accept responsibility for how anyone uses what they find here.
Rights holders
Notices are handled through the DMCA page. Valid notices are actioned on receipt. The desk does not require a court order before removing an entry and does not attempt to argue a notice before acting on it.
Changes
These terms change when the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and continuing to use the index means the current version applies to you. Nothing here is retroactive.
Contact
Anything about these terms goes through the contact form, marked as a general question. It is read by a person.
In short
This site indexes and describes. It hosts nothing. It warrants nothing. What you do with a link is your own decision and your own responsibility.
