WinRAR Professional
The archiver that reads everything and writes RAR and ZIP properly, with recovery records, solid archives and multi volume splitting.
A single small tool that writes a permanent digital licence for Windows 10 and Windows 11 in one click and leaves nothing running behind it.
This is a single executable with one job. It writes a permanent digital licence for the installed edition of Windows 10 or Windows 11, then closes. There is no service left resident, no scheduled task, no tray icon and no timer that has to fire every few weeks to keep the state alive. Once it has run, the machine reports itself licensed and continues to do so through reboots, driver changes and cumulative updates.
The interface is deliberately plain. It reads the edition already installed, shows it back to you along with the current state, and offers a single button. Everything else in the window is diagnostic: the edition string, the current status, and a log pane that tells you exactly what was written. There is no configuration to get wrong and nothing that needs to be chosen in advance.
It covers the full desktop edition range rather than just the common two. Home, Home Single Language, Professional, Professional for Workstations, Professional Education, Education and the Enterprise branches are all handled, and the tool picks the right path from what is already installed rather than asking you to identify it. If you later upgrade the edition in place, running it once more re establishes the state for the new edition.
Because the state it writes is tied to the machine rather than to a running process, a clean reinstall of the same edition on the same hardware comes back licensed on its own without the tool being run again. That is the main practical difference between this approach and the timer based helpers, and it is the reason this one keeps getting downloaded long after newer tools appear.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

Complete any pending Windows update and reboot before running it. A pending reboot makes the write report success without taking effect.
Your antivirus will object. That is expected for this category of tool, and the exclusion has to be set before extraction rather than after.
