Automatic photo correction that analyses each frame on its own and fixes exposure, colour, skin and detail across thousands of images without a manual pass.
Perfectly Clear WorkBench is the standalone batch application in the Perfectly Clear family. It exists for the situation where you have a very large number of images that all need to look correct and nobody has time to open them one at a time. Point it at a folder, choose a preset, and it analyses each frame individually and applies a correction calculated for that image rather than the same adjustment across the set.
The correction model is built around what the eye expects rather than what the histogram says. Exposure is corrected per region so a backlit subject comes up without blowing the sky. Colour casts from mixed lighting are separated and neutralised. Contrast is applied where there is detail to gain and held back where it would clip. Sharpening and noise reduction are balanced against the actual detail content in the frame instead of applied at a fixed strength.
The portrait tools are where the volume shooters spend their time. Face detection drives skin smoothing that keeps texture, blemish removal, eye enhancement and catchlight recovery, teeth whitening, dark circle reduction, shine reduction and a subtle face slimming control. Every one of them is strength adjustable and every one can be locked into a preset so a whole wedding or a whole school shoot runs identically.
It works as a standalone application with a batch queue and also installs plugin components for the common editors, so the same correction can be applied inside your existing workflow. Presets are shareable, the queue handles tens of thousands of files, output supports resizing, watermarking, renaming and format conversion, and raw files are read directly with the correction applied before conversion rather than after.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

Run a preset over twenty representative frames before committing a batch of ten thousand. Automatic correction is very good but it is not opinion free.
Write the output to a separate folder rather than overwriting. The corrections are baked into the exported file.
