WinRAR Professional
The archiver that reads everything and writes RAR and ZIP properly, with recovery records, solid archives and multi volume splitting.
Partition creation, resizing, moving, merging and conversion without data loss, plus disk cloning, migration and recovery in the same application.
Partition Wizard does the things Windows Disk Management refuses to do. Resize a partition that has another one in the way, move a partition along the disk, merge two adjacent partitions keeping the contents of both, split one into two, extend the system volume into free space that is not immediately after it, and convert between the partition table types without wiping the disk. Every operation is queued and previewed before anything is written.
Cloning and migration are the other half. Copy a whole disk sector by sector or intelligently skipping empty space, migrate a Windows install from a mechanical drive to a smaller solid state one with the partitions resized proportionally to fit, and copy individual partitions between disks. The migration path handles the boot configuration, which is the part that turns a straightforward copy into an unbootable machine when done manually.
Conversion tools cover the awkward jobs: MBR to GPT and back without data loss, basic to dynamic and dynamic to basic, FAT32 to NTFS and NTFS to FAT32, and a rebuild of a damaged master boot record. There is also a partition recovery scan that finds volumes that have been deleted or lost to a corrupted table and puts them back, and a file recovery scan for individual files from a formatted or damaged volume.
Beyond that sits a set of analysis and maintenance tools: a space analyser that shows what is actually filling a drive, a surface test for bad sectors, a disk benchmark, an alignment check and fix for solid state drives, and a secure wipe with several overwrite patterns. The bootable media builder produces a rescue environment on a stick so the same tools are available when Windows will not start, which is exactly when you need them most.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

Operations on the system partition require a reboot into the pre boot environment. Do not power the machine off while that stage is running.
Back up before converting a partition table type. The conversion is reliable, but a power cut during it is not survivable.
