EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard
File recovery from deleted, formatted, corrupted and unreadable volumes, with a bootable environment included for machines that will not start at all.
Disk imaging and backup with incremental chains, scheduled jobs, rapid delta restore and a bootable rescue environment that can put a whole system back on different hardware.
Macrium Reflect makes a complete image of a disk or a partition, not a copy of your documents folder. That distinction is the whole point: an image contains the boot sector, the partition layout, the operating system, every installed application and every setting, so restoring it gives you the machine exactly as it was rather than a fresh install you then have to rebuild for two days.
Backup runs as a chain rather than as one enormous file every time. A full image is taken first, then incrementals capture only the blocks that changed since the previous one, which are typically a small fraction of the size. Retention rules consolidate and prune the chain automatically so it does not grow forever, and synthetic full merging produces a new full image from the chain without rereading the source disk.
Restoring is where the design shows. Individual files and folders can be pulled out of an image by mounting it as a drive letter and copying from it. A whole partition or disk can be put back from the running system for anything that is not the system volume. For the system volume itself, the bootable rescue environment starts the machine from a USB stick or an ISO and restores from there, including onto completely different hardware with the driver injection step handling the storage controller change.
This listing carries the full edition set, which covers workstation use, server volumes and the additions that matter on a machine running a database or a mail store. Scheduled jobs with event driven triggers, email notification on completion or failure, image verification passes, encryption of the image files, ransomware protection that watches the backup destination for tampering, and a rescue media builder that produces the recovery environment as ISO or writes it straight to a stick.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.
| Processor | Intel or AMD, 64 bit |
|---|---|
| Memory | 4 GB minimum, 8 GB recommended |
| Graphics | Not applicable |
| Storage | 1 GB for the install plus a destination drive larger than the source |
| Display | 1280 by 800 minimum |
Build and test the rescue media on the day you install it. An untested rescue stick is not a backup strategy.
Keep at least one copy of the image chain on a drive that is not permanently connected.

File recovery from deleted, formatted, corrupted and unreadable volumes, with a bootable environment included for machines that will not start at all.
Partition management, disk cloning and system migration with a bootable environment included, doing the operations Windows disk management refuses to attempt.
File recovery from deleted, formatted, corrupted and unreadable volumes, including a deep scan by file signature and a bootable rescue environment for drives that will not mount.
A small, fast undelete tool that finds recently deleted files on any attached volume, shows how likely each one is to come back intact, and restores them in a couple of clicks.
