About this release

This is a scripted activation suite rather than a compiled application, and that is the point. Everything it does is readable in the batch files it ships with, nothing is hidden behind a binary, and the whole thing runs from one file with no installation. For anyone who is wary of running an opaque executable with administrator rights, being able to read the script before running it is the reason this one has stayed popular.

It handles both Windows and Office in the volume licensing path. The automatic mode detects what is installed, converts retail editions to their volume equivalents where a conversion exists, applies the correct keys and completes the activation in one pass. The manual mode exposes each step separately so you can convert, key, activate and check independently, which is what you want when something has gone wrong and you need to see where.

The renewal side is what keeps it working long term. It can install a scheduled task that renews the activation state on an interval without any further interaction, or it can be run on demand whenever you notice a notification. The status check reports every installed product, its edition, its current state and the remaining period, which by itself makes it useful as a diagnostic even when you are not activating anything.

Logging is thorough. Every run writes a full record of what was detected, what was attempted and what the result was, which turns a failed activation from a guessing game into something you can actually read. Uninstall reverses everything it put in place, including the scheduled task and any keys it installed, leaving the system in its original state.

Installation

Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

1. Extract the archive to a local folder. Do not run it from inside the archive viewer.
2. Turn off real time protection for the length of the run. Every heuristic flags this category of tool.
3. Add the extracted folder to your scanner's exclusions if you intend to keep it.
4. Right click the main file and run it as administrator.
5. Pick the automatic mode from the menu unless you know you need the manual steps.
6. Read the log at the end and confirm the reported state before you close the window.
