About this release

This suite exists because no single licensing approach covers every situation, and working out which one a given machine needs used to mean collecting three separate tools from three separate places. Here they are in one portable window with a tab each, a short explanation of when to use it, and a shared log pane underneath that prints every command as it runs.

The first approach is the key management route with the extended period option, which is what the 2038 in the name refers to. It stands up a local service, points the installed products at it, and sets the renewal horizon far enough out that the scheduled task becomes a formality rather than a dependency. This is the route that works on any edition of Windows or Office, and it is the fallback when the other two do not apply.

The second is the digital entitlement route, which writes the state so it persists through a clean reinstall of the same edition on the same board. Nothing needs to run afterwards and there is no service left behind. This is the cleanest outcome available and is the right choice for a machine you own and intend to keep. The third is the online route, which requests a state through the standard published mechanism using a generic key, and covers editions the other two do not reach.

Around the three tabs sits the diagnostic side, which is the part that makes this usable rather than a gamble. A state reader lists every installed product with its edition, channel, remaining period and current status. There is a key installer and remover, a channel converter for Office, a scheduled task inspector, and a backup and restore for the whole configuration. Every antivirus product flags the archive, which is expected for this category and is why the folder exclusion goes on before extraction.

Installation

Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

1. Add a folder exclusion in your security software before you extract anything.
2. Extract the archive into that excluded folder.
3. Disable real time protection for the session.
4. Run the executable as administrator.
5. Read the state with the diagnostic tab first, then take a backup of the current configuration.
6. Pick the tab that matches your situation, run it, reboot, and confirm the result in system settings.
