Revit LT is the architectural focused version of Revit, and it works on the same principle as the full product: you model the building rather than drawing pictures of it. Walls know they are walls, with layers, thickness and materials. Doors know which wall they sit in and cut the opening themselves. Every plan, section, elevation, callout, schedule and sheet is a view of that single model, so a change made anywhere appears everywhere immediately and nothing can fall out of agreement with anything else.
That behaviour is the whole argument for it. Moving a wall in a plan updates every section that crosses it, every elevation that sees it, the room areas that touch it, the door and window schedules, and the sheet numbers on the drawing set, without anyone remembering to go and check. On a project of any size, the time saved on coordination is far larger than the time spent modelling.
The architectural toolset is complete for design and documentation. Walls with compound layers, floors, roofs, ceilings, stairs with real code driven risers and treads, railings, curtain walls with mullion systems, structural columns and framing for reference, topography and site tools, and a family editor for building parametric components that flex properly rather than existing at one fixed size. Rooms, areas, phasing and design options are handled natively.
Documentation is generated rather than drawn. Views are placed on sheets with title blocks, view references and revision clouds with a revision schedule attached. Schedules are live queries over the model, so a door schedule is the doors, counted and grouped by whatever fields you choose, updating as the model changes. Rendering, walkthroughs and interference checking are available in the same file, and export covers the interchange formats plus a drawing set for anyone who needs one.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

Keep project files on a local drive. Working directly on a network share is slow and risks a damaged model.
Do not install alongside the full Revit of the same year. They share components and the second install damages the first.
