Boris FX Sapphire Plug-ins
The effects package that has been supplying glows, lens flares, transitions and stylised looks to finishing rooms for decades, installed into every host on the machine at once.
A large collection of accelerated transitions and effects that installs into every major editor and compositor and renders in real time on the timeline.
Universe is a very large library of transitions and effects that installs once and then appears inside every host on the machine that supports plugins. The same effect with the same parameters is available whether you are cutting in one editor, compositing in another or grading in a third, which means a look built in one place moves with the project instead of being rebuilt.
The distinguishing feature is that everything in it is written to run on the graphics card, so effects preview and play back on the timeline at full rate rather than needing a render before you can judge them. For transition work in particular that changes how you use them. You scrub across the cut, see the transition play, adjust the timing and see it again, which is the only sensible way to time something that lasts fifteen frames.
The library covers a wide span. Glitch, distortion, retro and analogue emulation for anything that should look like it came off tape or a broken feed. Glows, light leaks, lens flares, blurs, chromatic aberration and film grain for atmosphere. Text and title tools including animated typewriters, knockouts and outlines. Colour tools for grading, film emulation and channel manipulation. Practical fixes for chroma keying, edge cleanup, denoising and sharpening. Plus a large set of transitions covering wipes, warps, zooms, glitches and light driven cuts.
Everything is fully parameterised and keyframable inside the host, so nothing arrives as a fixed preset you cannot change. Presets exist as starting points and each one exposes its full control set underneath. This build installs the complete library with all packs enabled, and the licensing is handled at install time so the host does not prompt when a project loads.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

Confirm the detected host list at install time. A host installed afterwards needs the installer run again to receive the plugins.
Keep the manager application disabled after install. It checks the licensing state on launch.
