A deployment front end for the Office suites that gives you the whole product, channel, language and component matrix in one window instead of a hand written configuration file.
Microsoft's own deployment mechanism is driven by an XML configuration file that almost nobody wants to write by hand. This tool is a window over the top of it. Every option that file supports, and there are a great many, is exposed as a control, and the resulting configuration is shown to you as it builds so you can see exactly what is about to be deployed before anything runs.
The product matrix is the useful part. Retail and volume editions, the current subscription products, the 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2024 perpetual suites, the standalone applications, Project and Visio in both their editions, and the language accessory packs. You choose the update channel, the architecture, the display language, any number of proofing languages, and then check off application by application what actually gets installed. Excluding Access and Publisher from a rollout is one click rather than a hand edited element.
Beyond deployment it is a maintenance tool. It removes existing installations completely including the licensing state and registry remnants that block a reinstall, it repairs a broken install without a full removal, it switches an existing installation between channels or architectures, and it reports the current licensing state of every product on the machine in a panel that tells you the edition, the channel, the build and the remaining period.
Offline work is supported end to end. You can point it at a local folder of already downloaded source files rather than pulling from the network, which means one machine downloads once and every other machine on the bench installs from the same copy. The finished configuration can be exported and reused, which is what makes it worth learning once.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

The tool needs the runtime it ships with. If it will not start, install the included runtime package first.
Deploying a different architecture over an existing install fails. Remove the old one properly from the tools tab first.
