Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus
The perpetual 2019 suite, pre activated, in one image with both architectures and every Professional Plus application included.
The lightweight perpetual suite that still runs comfortably on hardware nothing newer will touch, in one image with both architectures and every Professional Plus application.
There is a specific and entirely reasonable case for this one, and it is not nostalgia. Office 2010 installs in a fraction of the space, opens in a fraction of the time, and runs perfectly well on machines with two gigabytes of memory and a mechanical disk. On an old laptop, a workshop machine, a point of sale terminal or anything running a legacy line of business tool, it is often the only suite that behaves.
The second case is compatibility. A great deal of institutional work still lives in macro heavy workbooks and templates written against this generation of the object model, and they run here without the security prompts, the trust centre fights and the subtle behaviour changes that later versions introduced. Access databases from the same era open and stay editable rather than being converted into something the original tool no longer recognises.
Feature wise it is more complete than people remember. The ribbon is fully customisable, the backstage view arrived here, Excel has sparklines, slicers and the first PowerPivot integration, PowerPoint gained video editing and broadcast, Word has proper navigation pane and improved paste preview, and Outlook picked up conversation view and quick steps. Publisher, Access, InfoPath, SharePoint Workspace and OneNote are all in the Professional Plus set.
The image contains both the 32 and 64 bit builds with a configuration step for language and application selection, and it comes up licensed with nothing to run afterwards. On the hardware this is aimed at, that matters more than anything else on the list.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.
