VirtualDJ is a full DJ performance application that replaced turntables and CD decks for a very large number of working DJs. The Pro Infinity tier is the one with every restriction removed: unlimited decks rather than two, every supported controller rather than a subset, video and karaoke output, broadcasting, and the full effect and sampler set. This listing is that tier.
The feature that changed the application is real time stem separation. Every track loaded is split on the fly into vocals, instruments, drums and bass, and each part gets its own volume and effect path. That means you can pull the vocal off one record and drop it over the instrumental of another live, kill the drums during a transition so two tracks stop fighting, or build an a cappella that never existed. It happens on load with no pre processing pass and no separate stem files.
Mixing itself covers everything expected of a modern setup. Beat detection and key detection on import, sync that holds through tempo changes, key locked pitch, automatic key matching for harmonic mixing, loops and loop rolls, hot cues, slip mode, a sampler with pad banks, and an effect rack you can chain freely. The browser handles very large libraries with folder monitoring, smart crates, history tracking and duplicate detection.
Beyond audio there is a full video engine, so the same deck can be playing a music video with transitions and effects driven by the crossfader, and a karaoke mode with the queue management a venue actually needs. Broadcasting streams your master out to an internet radio target directly. Controller support is enormous and the mapper is open, so anything unmapped can be wired up by hand.

Analyse your library in one batch before a set rather than letting tracks analyse on load. Live analysis under load is where dropouts come from.
Stem separation is the heaviest thing in the application. If you hear crackle, raise the buffer before you blame the drivers.
