Auto-Tune is the pitch correction processor that defined the sound of recorded vocals for a generation, in both of its uses. Set gently it is invisible, tightening intonation on a good take so the performance sits in tune without anyone noticing the processing. Set to its fastest retune it produces the hard stepped effect that became a production style in its own right. The same control does both, and the distance between them is one slider.
This collection carries the engine in two forms. The real time version runs on a track and corrects as the audio plays, with key and scale set so only notes in the scale are considered targets, plus humanise, natural vibrato and throat modelling controls that keep a corrected vocal sounding like a person. The graphical version shows the detected pitch curve against a note grid and lets you edit every note by hand: move it, flatten it, redraw the transition into it, or adjust vibrato depth on one word without touching the rest of the line.
The rest of the collection covers the vocal chain around the correction. Harmony generation that builds voices from the lead with independent pitch and timing variation. Formant and character processing for changing apparent throat size and gender. Doubling that produces convincing stacked takes from one performance. Vocal compression, equalisation and de essing tuned for voice rather than general purpose. A vocoder, a tube saturation stage, and a set of creative modules for pitch shifting and effects that go well past correction.
Everything installs in the common plugin formats so the modules load in any workstation on the machine, and the presets are shared across the collection. Low latency operation makes the real time modules usable while tracking, so a singer can monitor through correction and perform better for hearing themselves in tune, and the graphical editing pass happens afterwards on the recorded take without the two interfering.

Correct the worst notes graphically and leave the real time module gentle. Pushing the retune speed to fix bad intonation is what makes a vocal sound processed.
Set the key and scale before you touch anything else. Correction against the wrong scale will pull good notes to the wrong targets.
