This is one of the oldest video grabbers still being maintained, and its appeal has always been that it does one job with almost no interface in the way. Paste a link, choose a quality, press the button. The premium tier removes the caps that the free version applies, which in practice means unlimited batch size, the full quality list including the highest available streams, no waiting between items in a queue, and the conversion presets unlocked.
Downloads can be video, audio only, or both at once, and the queue accepts as many links as you want to paste into it. Playlists resolve into their individual items so you can deselect the ones you do not want before starting. Quality selection covers every stream the source publishes, and where the site delivers video and audio separately the application merges them into a single file without you having to think about it.
The conversion side is what separates this from a pure downloader. Output presets cover common device targets and general purpose formats, so a download can land already converted rather than needing a second application. Audio extraction produces MP3 or M4A at a chosen bitrate with the title and channel written into the tags. Subtitles download alongside the video where they exist.
Everything else is deliberately plain. A download folder with an automatic subfolder scheme, a history list, a proxy setting for restricted connections, a bandwidth limiter, and an option to shut the machine down when the queue finishes. The install is small, it runs on old hardware, and the whole application sits comfortably in the background while a long queue works through.
Read the whole list before you start. Most of the reports that come into the desk about this title turn out to be a step taken out of order.

Conversion on download is slower than downloading and converting later in a batch. For a very large queue, download first.
